Opening the Tripod
Fold the legs down
until the angle locks
click into place. Make
sure all the legs are set
to the same angle.
Open the flip locks, and
extend each leg to the
desired height. Relock
each leg.
Always extend the legs from
the top flip-locks first.
To adjust the leg angles, slightly
fold each leg down, and press
the leg angle lock. Move the leg
to the new angle, and release
the lock.
Mounting the Quick-Release Plate to the Camera
Loosen the quick-release locking knob, and remove
the quick-release plate from the ballhead.
Screw the quick-release plate into the camera’s tripod
socket until snug.
Make sure the mounting
screw’s D-ring is off to
the side of the screw.
Mount the camera/quick-
release plate assembly to
the ballhead by placing
the grooved edges of the
quick-release plate into
the matching beveled
sides of the ballhead.
Tighten the quick-release

and tighten the locking knob
until secure.
