We are excited to introduce our latest line of BOSS
Elite head units now fully compatible with iDatalink®
Maestro! This enhancement brings your customers a
seamless integration with access to vehicles factory
settings, allowing for unmatched control and
customization.
With the newly updated software, available for
download today, unlock advanced features such as
steering wheel controls, engine diagnostics, and
access to real-time vehicle information directly on
your BOSS Elite stereo screen. To take advantage of
these new capabilities, customers must purchase the
iDatalink® Maestro RR/RR2 interface separately.

Supported Features
Additional product required to enable iDatalink Maestro feature.
New Elite head units are now iDatalink® Maestro ready.
Avialable now exclusively in these BOSS Elite models
Download and unzip the upgrade
package containing the two update ï¬les
âISPBOOOT.BINâ and âupdateâ folder.
Erase the âISPBOOT.BINâ from the portable
USB Drive and transfer the âupdateâ folder to
the root directory of the USB Drive.
Select âContinueâ to
proceed with update.
Unit will start the update process, and the
progress bar will display until completed.
Then unit will reboot automatically.
Insert the USB disk into the USB port
Settings -->About-->Update
This will be a two-ï¬le update process, follow the instructions below to successfully update your BE*ACP.WX source unit.
It is recommended to use a high-quality portable drive with USB 3.0 and be formatted to FAT32.

Copy the âISPBOOT.BINâ ï¬le to the
root folder
Unit will start the update process and the
progress bar will display until completed.
Then unit will reboot automatically.
Notes:
1- Do not turn oî
the unit or remove
power until the update is completed.
2- If the unit does not show âUpdateâ
as an option, the USB drive is not being
recognized by the Head Unit, change
the USB drive, and try again.
Settings -->About-->Update
Select âContinueâ to proceed
with update.

Power up the head unit, insert
the USB ï¬ash drive into the
head unit USB port.

WARNING: Ensure that your head unit's
model number matches the model
number in the downloaded software
ï¬le name. Installing incorrect software
may result in unit failure.
