IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using this appliance, basic precau๎ธons should always be followed, including the
following:
1. Read all instruc๎ธons before using .
2. Never immerse the toaster in water or any other liquids.
3. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or a๎ณer the appliance
malfunc๎ธons, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return appliance to manufacturer
or the nearest authorized service agent for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical
adjustment.
4. Do not let the power cord hang over edge of table or counter or hot surface.
5. To disconnect the plug from wall outlet, grasp the plug and not the cord.
6. Do not leave the appliance una๎ended while it is opera๎ธng.
7. Always use the appliance on a ๎ฎat, stable and heat resistant surface.
8. While opera๎ธng the appliance, do not touch the product body.
9. Note: Oversize food, metal foil packages or utensils must not be inserted into the toaster
as they may cause ๎re, burnt or electrical shock.
10. Place the appliance away from curtains, and other combus๎ธble material.
11. Never use any accessories or parts from other manufacturers or that ELBA does not
speci๎cally recommend.
12. Do not a๎empt to dislodge food when toaster is in opera๎ธon.
13. Do not use the toaster without its crumb tray in place. The crumb tray should be cleaned
regularly.
14. Be careful when removing the bread from the toaster to avoid injuries.
15. This appliance is not intended for used by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabili๎ธes, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruc๎ธon concerning use of the appliances by a person
responsible for their safety.
16. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
17. Unplug the plug from wall outlet when not in use, before pu๎ng on or taking off parts
and before cleaning.
18. This appliance has been incorporated with a grounded plug. Please ensure the wall outlet
in your house is well earthed.
19. The product has been designed for domes๎ธc and household use only. Any commercial use,
inappropriate use or failure to comply with the instruc๎ธons, the manufacturer accepts no
responsibility and the warranty will not apply.
20. Donโt use the appliance outdoors.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS
BEFORE THE FIRST USE
As there is residue or oil remained in the toaster or hea๎ดng element, it usually will emit the
odour for the ๎rst use. It is normal and will not occur a๎ฎer several ๎ดmes use. For the ๎rst use
it is suggested to operate according to the below steps, except without bread. Then let the
toaster cool down and begin toas๎ดng the ๎rst slice.
OPERATING THE BREAD MAKER
1. Remove all packaging and place the toaster on a ๎ฉat, stable and heat resistant surface.
2. Check inside the bread slots to ensure everything has been removed.
3. Connect the plug to the wall outlet and power on the toaster.
4. Do not place bread in the toaster for the ๎rst use. Instead, lower the bread carriage lever to
allow the hea๎ดng elements to preheat and burn o๎ any dust and residues which may have
accumulated during manufacturing or assembly.
5. Once the above is completed, do not operate the toaster when empty.
6. Insert two slices of bread into the bread slots. The bread carriage lever must be in the up
posi๎ดon when inser๎ดng the bread slices.
7. Set the browning level for the bread by adjus๎ดng the browning control knob according to your
desired degree of browning. There are 7 levels the lowest brownish is at โ1โ. The posi๎ญon โ3โ
can toast the bread to golden colour colour . Respec๎ญvely, posi๎ญon โ7โ delivers the darkest
result. It is always advisable to start the toas๎ดng at lowest level ๎rst and then adjust
accordingly.
Note: Browed colour of single bread is darker than that of double bread at the same level.
Always try from the lower level to the higher level to avoid over toasted.
8. Press the bread carriage lever down ver๎ดcally un๎ดl it is posi๎ดoned in place, the indicator of
Cancel will be illuminated and toas๎ดng begins. Once the bread has been toasted to the pre-
