13. The use of any accessory not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may result in ξre, electric
shock or injury of the user.
14. Always ensure that the lid is closed and the carafe is properly placed in the unit. Do not lift the carafe
while coξee is dripping. Scalding may occur if the carafe is removed during the brewing cycle. Do not
touch the hot surfaces of the coξee maker.
15. Avoid placing the carafe on a wet or cold surface especially when hot.
16. Do not use the carafe if it is damage or the handle is not stable.
17. Do not use the carafe for other purposes.

DESCRIPTION OF PARTS
HOW TO USE
1. For initial use, wash ξlter basket, ξlter holder and the cups thoroughly.
2. Plug the unit into a convenience outlet, always make it sure that the unit is in OFF position.
3. Put the ξlter basket into the ξlter holder.
4. Put adequate amount of ground coξee on the ξlter basket.
5. Open the cover, pour the desired amount of water and close the then.
Note: Do not ξll water tank above its maximum level.
6. Switch the unit ON.
7. During the brew cycle, the water will automatically drip into the cups .
NOTE:
1. You can also use your own coξee mug as long as it will ξt on the height of the spout.
2. The coξee you get will be less than the water you have poured, as some water is absorbed
by coξee ground.
8. After use, switch OFF and unplug the unit from the convenience.
HINTS FOR GREAT-TASTING COFFEE
1. A clean coξee maker is essential for making great-tasting coξee. Regularly clean the coξee maker as
speciξed in the βCLEANING AND MAINTENANCEβ section.
2. Always use fresh tap water in brewing coξee.
3. Store unused ground coξee in a cool, dry place. After opening a package of ground coξee, store it in
an airtight container to maintain its freshness.
4. For the best coξee taste, buy whole coξee beans and ξnely grind them just before brewing.
5. not reuse ground coξee since this will greatly reduce the coξee ξavor. Do

7. Clean the coξee maker when over-extraction caused oiliness. Small oil droplets on the surface of
brewed, black coξee are due to the extraction of oil from the ground coξee.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
How to clean the Water Tank:
1. Pour water on the water tank with one pint vinegar.
2. Put a mug under the spout.
3. Allow the vinegar inside the water tank for at least 30 minutes.
