9. Do not plug or unplug this appliance when your hands are wet.

12. Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has
been dropped or damaged, of if it has been dropped into water. Return the appliance to the
nearest Imarex Service Center for examination and repair.
13. Keep the cord away from the heated surfaces. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance.
14. This appliance is hot when in use. Do not let eyes or bare skin touch heated surfaces.
DESCRIPTION OF PARTS:
HOW TO USE:
Straightening your Hair
1. Hair should be dry and free of tangles before using the styling iron.
2. Plug the styler into a convenient outlet. Move the on/o switch to ON and the power light
indicator must switch ON.
3. Wait until the heating plates heats up.
4. Divide hair into manageable sections and clip the upper layers on top of your head and
out of the way. Work with underneath layers rst.
5. Take a small section of hair and pull hair down and away from your scalp, hold it taut.
6. Starting at the roots, clamp hair rmly between the plates and run the styler down the
entire hair strand, from root to tip, in one smooth stroke. Do not hold it in one area for a
long period of time or damage to hair may occur.
7. To create curves or icks, rotate your wrist to turn the iron in toward your head or out away
from your head as you run the iron down the hair strand.
8. Repeat with all the sections of your hair, working with the underneath layers rst, then the
top and sides.
9. When you are nished styling, turn OFF the unit and unplug after use
10. Allow the unit to cool before storing.
Curling Your Hair
1. In order to curl your hair, you must divide your hair into thin strands.
2. Take one strand of hair at a time and curl it around the curling plate of the unit.
Note: During this time, be very careful not to touch the curling plate with your hands
3. Hold the strand of hair for approximately 5-10 seconds and then release the hair strand.
4. Repeat this process with the rest of the hair strands until the process has been completed.
5. Do not comb the hair just after curling; wait until it cools down completely.
NOTE: Do not use the appliance longer than 15-20 minutes. In order to get more
dened curls, hold the hair strands around the curling plate for a few extra seconds.
6. Unplug the unit after use and allow it to cool down.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
1. To clean the unit, be sure the unit is cool and unplugged.
2. Wipe the handle and barrel with a damp cloth.
3. Do not use chemical liquids or abrasive cleaners to clean the unit.
