The STIHL CM 12.0 is designed to supply
electrical power to up to twelve STIHL AL
chargers on one circuit. The appliance auto‐
matically switches the connected chargers on
and off to manage the electrical draw on the
circuit. Power outlets 1 to 3 are supplied with
power first. Power outlets 4 to 12 receive
power when the electrical draw does not
exceed 12 amps. The STIHL CM 12.0 is
designed for use only with genuine STIHL AL
series chargers. Plugging in other electrical
damage to your equipment.
Improper use could result in personal injury or
property damage, including damage to the
appliance.
Use the STIHL CM 12.0 only as described
in this manual.
Never use a STIHL CM 12.0 that has
been modified or altered from its original
design.

this instruction manual.
For indoor use only.
Keep the appliance dry.
Protect it from rain, water,
liquids and damp condi‐
tions. Never use a wet
appliance.
Do not handle the appliance, including
power supply cord and plug, with wet
hands.
Never use a damaged appliance.
Operate the appliance only within the
specified ambient temperature ranges,

installed and electrical outlet / power
source matching the voltage and electrical
frequency stated on the rating plate of the
appliance.
Do not operate an appliance that has
received a sharp or heavy blow, has been

Do not attempt to repair, open or disas‐
semble the appliance. There are no user-
serviceable parts inside.
To reduce the risk of electric shock or fire from
a short circuit:
Make sure the appliance, charger and
battery are completely dry before starting
the charging process.
Never bridge the electrical contacts of the
appliance with wires or other metallic
objects.
